Amlozaar-H Tablets (30 pack) are a triple-action antihypertensive combining losartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker, amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic, in one convenient daily tablet. The three medicines lower blood pressure through complementary mechanisms. Relaxing blood vessels and removing excess salt and water. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dose is one tablet once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food. Morning dosing is common because the diuretic increases urination. Keep taking it even when you feel well; high blood pressure is usually silent. Attend regular blood pressure and blood test reviews.

Do not use during pregnancy. Losartan can harm an unborn baby; tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant. May cause dizziness, especially at first. Rise slowly and stay hydrated. Ankle swelling (from amlodipine) and increased urination (from the diuretic) can occur. Your doctor may monitor kidney function, potassium and uric acid. Hydrochlorothiazide can trigger gout. Avoid potassium supplements unless advised. NSAID painkillers can blunt the effect and strain kidneys. Store below 30°C.
