Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually two or three times a day, swallowed with water, at the same times each day; the dose is adjusted to your blood pressure. Keep taking it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms, and do not stop suddenly without advice. Attend your blood-pressure (and, in pregnancy, antenatal) reviews.

May cause drowsiness or dizziness, especially when starting or increasing the dose. Take care driving, rise slowly, and avoid alcohol. Tell your doctor about liver problems, depression, or anaemia, and report yellowing of the skin/eyes, unusual tiredness, fever, or low mood. It is considered suitable in pregnancy when prescribed.
