Nebilet Plus 5/25mg Tablets (28 pack) from Menarini combine nebivolol 5mg, a modern heart-selective beta-blocker, with hydrochlorothiazide 25mg, a thiazide diuretic, for high blood pressure needing two mechanisms in one daily tablet. Nebivolol slows and steadies the heart while uniquely boosting nitric-oxide-mediated blood vessel relaxation, and the higher-strength 25mg diuretic clears more excess salt and fluid than the 12.5mg version. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food (morning preferred, as the diuretic increases urination). Swallow with water. Never stop a beta-blocker suddenly. The dose must be reduced gradually under medical supervision. Attend regular blood pressure, electrolyte and kidney reviews.

Do not use with severe asthma, very slow heart rate, certain heart conduction disorders, untreated heart failure or severe liver impairment. Caution in diabetes. Beta-blockers can mask low-sugar warning signs, and the thiazide can raise blood sugar and uric acid (gout). May cause tiredness, cold extremities and dizziness. Rise slowly. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding except on specialist advice. Tell your doctor about all heart and blood pressure medicines. Store below 30°C.
