Safetelmi 80 Tablets contain telmisartan 80mg, a long-acting angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) for high blood pressure and cardiovascular protection. Telmisartan relaxes and protects blood vessels by blocking the hormone that tightens them, delivering exceptionally smooth, full 24-hour pressure control from the maximum 80mg strength, and protecting the heart and kidneys over the long term.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed with water. Continue regularly even when feeling well. High blood pressure is silent, and attend scheduled blood pressure checks and blood tests.

Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnant or planning pregnancy. May cause dizziness, particularly when starting or if dehydrated. Rise slowly. Kidney function and potassium may be monitored; avoid potassium supplements and salt substitutes unless advised. Use caution in severe kidney or liver impairment and renal artery stenosis.
