Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually twice daily with food, which slows absorption and reduces dizziness, swallowed with water at the same times each day. In heart failure the dose is increased slowly over weeks. Do not stop suddenly, as this can worsen heart symptoms; any change must be gradual and medically supervised.
Do not stop abruptly. May cause dizziness, tiredness or slow heartbeat, especially at first or on standing. Rise slowly. Tell your doctor about asthma or other breathing problems (beta-blockers can trigger wheeze), diabetes (it can mask low-sugar warning signs) and circulation problems. Take care driving until you know how it affects you. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice. Store below 30°C.
