Mirtaz tablet contains Mirtazapine 15 mg which is used in the treatment of depression. Mirtaz is an antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline), natural substances in the brain that help maintain mental balance.Its a controlled drug in Kenya and a valid prescription from a registered doctor is required to obtain the prescribed doses.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mirtaz 15 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Mirtaz 15 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol. It may be unsafe to use during pregnancy and lactation.
