Supply Chain

At MYDAWA we simplify and secure our supply chain to ensure that every product dispensed is genuine and affordable — improving both quality and cost of care.

Products are sourced directly from 3rd party brand manufacturers, sole authorized importers/distributors, and WHO GMP contract manufacturers under the MYDAWA brand. Each product is secured with a unique tamper-proof authentication sticker upon receipt.

The authentication sticker features a scratch-off panel with a unique SMS-verifiable code plus a QR code for in-app authentication — matching Customer name, Order number, and Product details for a personalized authenticity response.

The Team

MYDAWA has a strong pharmacy team including our Superintendent Pharmacist (Head of Operations) and our Regulatory Pharmacist (responsible for all quality aspects). They are supported by a large team of pharmaceutical technologists across our call centre, warehouse, and patient delivery operations.

Both the team and premises are licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya, with each individual a member of their professional association (PSK or KPA).

Professional Service

Access MYDAWA through www.mydawa.com, our mobile app, or directly via our call centre. For non-prescription items, browse or search our wide range of OTC medication, health, wellness, and personal care products — and receive delivery within 4 hours.

For prescription-only medication, upload a valid prescription via the website, app, email, or WhatsApp. Each prescription is individually reviewed and transcribed by a licensed professional — patients cannot add prescription-only products to their own cart.

Dispensing and delivery of prescription medications is handled by qualified pharmaceutical riders, who counsel patients on proper use, administration, side effects, contraindications, and medication adherence.

Cold-chain facilities for medications requiring 2°C–8°C, including last-mile delivery
