Singulair 10mg tablets contains montelukast which is used for asthma prevention, Sneezing and runny nose due to allergies. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.Take it in the evening for better control of asthma or allergies symptoms.Singulair is a relatively safe medicine with very few side effects. Take singulair 2 hours before exercising if you have exercise-induced asthma.Singulair will not work for sudden wheezing or asthma attacks once they start. Always carry a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Singulair 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take this medication in the dose prescribed by your doctor.
Singulair 10mg tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. Singulair is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. but should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease.It is also safe for use in pregnancy and breast feeding upon consultation with your doctor.
