Clavulin 457 mg contains amoxicillin 400 mg and clavulanic acid 57 mg. It is an antibiotic that belongs in a group of medicines called '' Penicillin''. Clavulin is used to treat sinus infection, upper respiratory tract infection(URTI), Skin infection, Urinary tract infection(UTI), Dental infections and other bacterial infections.
Children 2-6 years (13kg-21kg) : 5 ml twice daily. 7-12 years (22kg-40kg) : 10 ml twice daily. Consult your doctor on the dosage as this may vary for different conditions.
Contraindicated In patients with a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, e.g. Penicillins and cephalosporins. Can be used during pregnancy upon a physician approval for treatment.
