Drox 250 mg suspension is a cephalosporin-type antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections (e.g., strep throat, skin and urinary tract infections). It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections.
Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day. You may take this medication with food if stomach upset occurs.
Before taking, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to penicillins or other cephalosporins; or if you have any other allergies.
