Novonorm contains Repaglinide 0.5 mg which is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Novonorm 0.5 mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas which prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Novonorm 0.5 mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.
Taking repaglinide with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes. Novonorm 0.5 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Always consult your doctor before taking. Novonorm 0.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
