Tritace 2.5mg tablets contain Ramipril 2.5mg used in the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure.It is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tritace 2.5mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Tritace is unsafe to use during pregnancy and during lactation. It should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
