Lizolid 600 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used to treat infections of lungs (Pneumonia), skin and soft tissues. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lizolid 600 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Lizolid 600 Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. You should also let your doctor know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
