Dentogel Gel contains Choline Salicylate 8.7%w/w and Lidocaine Topical 2%w/w used in the treatment of mouth sores. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the mouth. Lidocaine Topical is a local anesthetic which forms a protective coating over the mouth sores and blocks pain signals to further relieve pain.
This medicine is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying.
