Aldomet 250mg Tablets (30 pack) contain methyldopa, a long-established medicine for high blood pressure. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually two to three times a day, swallowed with water at regular times. The dose is increased gradually to control blood pressure. Keep taking it even when you feel well, and do not stop suddenly without advice. Attend regular blood-pressure and blood checks during treatment, especially in pregnancy.

May cause drowsiness, especially in the first days or after a dose increase. Take care driving until you know how it affects you. Can cause a dry mouth, dizziness on standing (rise slowly), or, rarely, liver or blood changes; tell your doctor about yellowing skin, fever or unusual tiredness. Tell your doctor about liver disease or depression. Avoid alcohol. Store below 30°C, protected from light.
