Overview
Zelaton 15 Gel is a higher-strength topical treatment containing 15% azelaic acid with niacinamide, for moderate acne, rosacea, melasma and hyperpigmentation. Azelaic acid has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help clear blemishes, unclog pores and reduce rosacea-related redness, while it and niacinamide help fade dark spots, melasma and post-acne marks for a more even, clearer complexion. This non-comedogenic 30g gel is suited to adults managing more stubborn acne or pigmentation.
Active ingredients: Azelaic acid 15% with niacinamide, in a non-comedogenic gel base. Full ingredient list on packaging.
Directions for Use
After cleansing, apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin once or twice daily, avoiding the eyes, lips and inner nostrils. Allow it to absorb, then follow with moisturiser. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen each morning, as the skin can be more sun-sensitive. Introduce gradually (e.g. once daily or every other day) if your skin is sensitive.
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips and mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse with water. Tingling, dryness or mild peeling can occur, especially at first. Do a patch test and build up use gradually. Use daily sunscreen. Discontinue use if persistent irritation, burning or redness develops. Not for broken or sunburnt skin. Store in a cool, dry place.
