Arbitel 80mg Tablets contain telmisartan 80mg, a potent, long-acting angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) for high blood pressure and cardiovascular protection. Telmisartan blocks the hormone that tightens blood vessels, providing smooth, sustained 24-hour pressure control from one daily dose, and in suitable patients, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed with water. Continue even when feeling well. Hypertension is silent, and attend scheduled blood pressure checks and blood tests. Tablets should be taken out of the blister only just before use, as they are sensitive to moisture.

Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnant or planning pregnancy. May cause dizziness, particularly when starting or if dehydrated. Rise slowly and maintain fluids. Kidney function and potassium may be monitored; avoid potassium supplements and salt substitutes unless advised. Use caution in severe liver or kidney impairment and renal artery stenosis.
