Overview

Asomex D 2.5 mg/12.5mg Tablet is used to treat angina, high blood pressure and coronary heart disease. It is recommended in case of heart failure if other medications fail to work. This medication is a combination of two viz. Amlodipine and Atenolol. Amlodipine belongs to the class of a calcium channel blocker that improves blood flow by dilating blood vessels. Atenolol belongs to the class of beta-blockers that slows down the effect of some chemical that occurs naturally in the body.

Directions for Use

It comes as a tablet and liquid to take by mouth, with food. The recommended dose is 12.5 to 50 mg once daily.
