Overview
Asomex D 5mg is a blood pressure tablet from the Asomex range, based on S-amlodipine (levamlodipine) 5mg, a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels to lower high blood pressure (hypertension). The 'D' formulation pairs it with an additional component for stronger blood-pressure control. Controlling hypertension helps protect against stroke, heart attack and kidney damage. Supplied as a 30-tablet pack for daily use.

Directions for Use
This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Keep taking it even when you feel well, and do not stop without your doctor's advice.
Tell your doctor if you have heart, liver or kidney problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. May cause ankle swelling, flushing, headache or dizziness, especially when starting.
