Azil 40mg Tablets contain azilsartan medoxomil 40mg, the most potent of the modern angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) for high blood pressure. Azilsartan blocks the hormone that tightens blood vessels with exceptional receptor binding, delivering some of the strongest 24-hour pressure reductions in its class from one daily tablet.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed whole with water. Continue even when feeling well. Hypertension is silent, and attend scheduled blood pressure checks and blood tests. Confirm the active ingredient with your pharmacist.

Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnant or planning pregnancy. May cause dizziness, particularly with diuretics or dehydration. Rise slowly and maintain fluids. Kidney function and potassium may be monitored; avoid potassium supplements unless advised. Use caution in severe kidney or liver impairment and renal artery stenosis.
