Overview
Cow & Gate NutriStart 1 Formula Milk (400g) is a first infant formula designed for healthy, bottle-fed babies from birth to around 6 months. When breastfeeding is not chosen or is not possible, a first-stage formula like this provides balanced nutrition. With the protein, carbohydrate, fats, vitamins and minerals a young baby needs to grow and develop. As the sole source of nourishment in the early months. NutriStart 1 offers parents a trusted, suitable feeding option for their newborn when formula feeding. Breast milk remains the best food for babies wherever possible.
Infant formula based on milk, with carbohydrates, vegetable oils, and added vitamins and minerals. Confirm the full ingredient and allergen list on the tin.
Directions for Use
Always prepare exactly as directed on the tin and follow the measuring scoop and water amounts precisely. The right dilution matters for your baby's health. Wash hands and sterilise all feeding equipment. Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool as directed, add the correct number of level scoops, shake well, and check the temperature on your wrist before feeding. Make up each feed fresh, use within the stated time, and discard any left in the bottle after a feed. Never add extra powder or water.
Breastfeeding is best for babies; discuss formula feeding with a health worker before deciding. Follow preparation and hygiene instructions exactly. Incorrect mixing or unsterilised equipment can make a baby ill. Use within the period stated once opened, and store the powder in a cool, dry place with the lid closed (do not refrigerate the powder). Do not use a first-stage formula beyond its intended age without advice. Seek medical advice if your baby has feeding problems, allergy signs or poor weight gain. This information is for general guidance only. Follow the on-pack instructions and consult a healthcare professional. Keep out of reach of children.
