Overview

Buscopan 10mg Tablets (50 pack) contain hyoscine butylbromide, the world's best-known antispasmodic for crampy abdominal pain. It works directly on the smooth muscle of the gut and urinary and biliary tracts, relaxing painful spasms from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), stomach cramps, biliary and renal colic. Without simply masking pain the way ordinary painkillers do. Because it targets the cramp itself, relief feels natural and focused. Hyoscine butylbromide 10mg per sugar-coated tablet. Contains sucrose.

Directions for Use

Adults and children over 12: take 1-2 tablets three to four times daily, swallowed whole with water. Use the lowest dose that relieves your cramps and do not exceed the stated daily maximum. If abdominal pain persists beyond a few days, worsens, or comes with fever, vomiting, blood in stools or weight loss, stop self-treating and see a doctor promptly.

Do not use with glaucoma (narrow-angle), myasthenia gravis, megacolon, bowel obstruction or an enlarged prostate causing urinary retention. May cause dry mouth, blurred vision and faster heartbeat. Use caution with heart conditions. Take care driving if vision is affected. Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
