Stop the tablets and seek an urgent blood count for any fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers or unexplained infection. Report jaundice, dark urine or severe rash promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnant or planning pregnancy. Carbimazole requires specialist management in pregnancy, particularly the first trimester.
