Atenolol works specifically on the heart. Slowing the heart rate and helping the heart pump blood more efficiently around the body, which lowers blood pressure and reduces strain on the heart. The 50mg strength is the most commonly prescribed daily dose. Cardinol 50mg is a Pharmacy and Poisons Board-registered, affordable choice for people managing high blood pressure long term (28 tablets per pack).
Atenolol 50mg per film-coated tablet.

Atenolol can mask signs of low blood sugar. Dose adjustment may be needed in kidney disease. Generally avoided in pregnancy. Tell your doctor if pregnant or planning pregnancy.
