Directions for Use
Take only as directed on the label or by your pharmacist. Castor-oil products are taken by mouth with water, usually as a single dose for occasional constipation, ideally not at bedtime as the effect can be relatively quick. Do not exceed the stated dose or use regularly. Drink plenty of fluids. If symptoms persist, see a doctor.
For short-term, occasional use only. Do not use as a laxative if you have severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting or a suspected bowel blockage, and do not use in pregnancy (castor oil can stimulate the womb).
