Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once daily, preferably in the morning, with or without food. Take at the same time each day and do not stop when you feel well. Attend regular reviews of blood pressure, kidney function and electrolytes, and maintain salt reduction, exercise and weight management.

Do not use in pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant, or while breastfeeding except on medical advice. Caution with gout, diabetes, kidney impairment and lupus; the thiazide can affect potassium, sodium, uric acid and blood sugar. Dizziness on standing can occur. Rise slowly. Avoid combining with ACE inhibitors, aliskiren, potassium supplements and regular NSAIDs. Store below 30°C.
