Emadon 4mg Tablets (10 pack) contain ondansetron, a trusted anti-sickness medicine from manufacturer Dawa Life Sciences. Ondansetron blocks the serotonin signals that trigger the vomiting reflex, making it highly effective for preventing nausea and vomiting from cancer chemotherapy, radiotherapy and after surgery. Unlike older anti-nausea medicines, it rarely causes sedation or restlessness, helping patients stay comfortable and complete their treatment cycles. Ondansetron (as hydrochloride dihydrate) 4mg per tablet.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Commonly one 4-8mg dose 1-2 hours before chemotherapy or radiotherapy, repeated every 8-12 hours as prescribed for up to 5 days. Swallow with water, with or without food. Do not exceed the prescribed daily maximum, and complete the anti-sickness course alongside your treatment plan.

Do not use with apomorphine, or if allergic to ondansetron or similar medicines (granisetron). Caution with heart rhythm disorders, low potassium or magnesium, liver impairment and constipation or bowel obstruction. Common effects: headache, constipation, flushing. Interacts with carbamazepine, phenytoin, rifampicin and tramadol (may reduce tramadol's effect). Discuss use in pregnancy with your doctor. Store below 30°C.
