May cause genital yeast infections, urinary tract infections, dehydration and low blood pressure; rare risk of ketoacidosis. Seek urgent care for nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or difficulty breathing even if blood sugar is normal. Maintain good genital hygiene and report any genital pain or swelling urgently. Use with caution in the elderly; avoid in pregnancy/breastfeeding unless advised. Store in a cool, dry place.
