Enapril tablets contains Enalapril 10 mg which is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure. It is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Enapril 10 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Enapril is unsafe to use during pregnancy but is safe to use during lactation. Enapril 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease.
