Epnone 25mg Tablets contain eplerenone, a medicine that blocks the action of aldosterone, a hormone that can raise blood pressure and strain the heart. Directions for Use

This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor. Epnone is usually taken once a day, with or without food, swallowed whole with water at about the same time each day. Your doctor will set and adjust the dose based on your blood pressure, heart condition and blood potassium levels. Keep taking it even when you feel well, attend your monitoring blood tests, and do not change or stop the dose without medical advice.

Eplerenone can raise blood potassium, so your doctor will monitor this with blood tests; avoid potassium supplements and salt substitutes unless advised, and tell your doctor about all other medicines (especially ACE inhibitors, ARBs, certain diuretics and some antibiotics/antifungals). Use with caution in kidney or liver problems. Seek advice for muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat or unusual tiredness. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Store below 30C in a dry place.
