Directions for Use

Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Treatment courses typically run 4-8 weeks depending on the condition. Complete the course your doctor recommends even if symptoms settle quickly.

Do not use if allergic to esomeprazole or other PPIs (omeprazole, rabeprazole). Seek prompt medical review for alarm symptoms. Difficulty swallowing, unintended weight loss, vomiting blood or black stools. Long-term use may lower magnesium and vitamin B12 levels and slightly increase fracture risk. Use the lowest effective dose. Tell your doctor about other medicines, especially clopidogrel. May cause headache, nausea or diarrhoea. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
