Flusort Nasal Spray 50mcg (fluticasone) is a prescription corticosteroid nasal spray used to prevent and relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever and year-round nasal allergies), such as a blocked, runny or itchy nose and sneezing. It works by reducing inflammation in the lining of the nose. Used regularly, Flusort helps control persistent nasal allergy symptoms for adults and children . This 120-dose spray provides convenient, metered dosing.

Directions for Use

Use as directed by your doctor. Shake gently, prime if new or unused for a while, blow your nose, then insert the nozzle into one nostril (aiming slightly away from the central septum), spray while breathing in gently, and repeat in the other nostril. It is usually used once daily; it works best with regular daily use and may take a few days to give full benefit. Do not exceed the recommended number of sprays.

This is a prescription medicine for use in the nose only. May cause nasal dryness, irritation or nosebleeds. Aiming away from the central septum helps. Tell your doctor about recent nose surgery/injury, glaucoma or cataracts, or frequent infections. Seek advice for persistent nosebleeds, severe irritation or vision changes. Use the lowest effective dose, especially in children (growth may be monitored on long-term use). Store in a cool, dry place.
