Overview
Momate AZ nasal spray contains Mometasone and azelastine as the active ingredients. Mometasone is an anti inflammatory corticosteroid and azelastine is an antihistamine . The combination is used for the relief of the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in patients 12 years of age and older.
Directions for Use
The recommended dose for the treatment of nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis is 2 sprays in each nostril twice daily.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or any other ingredients of the medication. The spray should not be used in the presence of untreated localised infection involving the nasal mucosa. patients who have experienced recent nasal surgery or trauma should not use the spray until healing has occurred The following information is an educational aid only.
