Montebasto Kids is a prescription combination medicine for children containing montelukast and levocetirizine, used to control allergy symptoms and allergy-related breathing problems. Montelukast (a leukotriene blocker) reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and helps prevent asthma and allergy symptoms, while levocetirizine (a non-drowsy antihistamine) relieves sneezing, runny nose, itching and watery eyes. Given once daily, it helps children manage allergic rhinitis and associated symptoms under a doctor's guidance.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Give only as directed by your child's doctor. Montebasto Kids is usually given once daily in the evening, with or without food. Use the exact dose and formulation the doctor prescribes for your child's age and weight, and give it regularly for prevention rather than only when symptoms appear. It is not a reliever for sudden asthma attacks.
