Overview
Predsol 5mg/5ml Syrup (50ml) contains prednisolone, a corticosteroid medicine, in an easy-to-dose liquid. Prednisolone calms inflammation and damps down an overactive immune response, making it useful across many conditions. Severe allergies, asthma and other airway flare-ups, inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, and certain skin and joint conditions. The syrup form makes it easy to give accurate, weight-based doses, especially to children and those who struggle with tablets. A versatile, doctor-prescribed anti-inflammatory option for patients of all ages.

Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. The dose is tailored to the condition and, for children, to body weight, usually given once daily in the morning with or after food to protect the stomach. Measure with the syringe or cup provided, not a kitchen spoon. Do not stop suddenly after more than a short course. The dose must be reduced gradually under medical guidance. Complete the course exactly as prescribed.
Do not stop a longer course abruptly. This can cause a serious withdrawal reaction. Steroids can raise blood sugar and blood pressure, lower resistance to infection (avoid contact with chickenpox or measles if not immune. Seek advice if exposed), and with prolonged use affect bones, mood and the eyes. Tell your doctor about diabetes, infections, stomach ulcers or mental health conditions, and all other medicines. Carry a steroid card for longer courses. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice. Store below 25°C.
