Overview
Vintor 4000 IU is an injection containing epoetin alfa, a man-made form of erythropoietin. A hormone that stimulates the body to produce red blood cells. It is a prescription biologic medicine used to treat anaemia (a low red blood cell count), such as anaemia caused by chronic kidney disease or by certain cancer chemotherapy. By boosting red blood cell production, it helps improve energy levels and can reduce the need for blood transfusions. Vintor is given under medical supervision as part of a treatment plan for managing anaemia.
Epoetin alfa 4000 IU per injection.
