Dabifib 150mg Capsules contain dabigatran, a modern oral anticoagulant (blood thinner) used to prevent stroke in atrial fibrillation and to treat and prevent blood clots (deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism). Dabigatran reduces clot formation without routine blood-level monitoring. Convenient, reliable protection against dangerous clots and stroke.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one capsule twice daily as prescribed, with water, swallowed WHOLE with a full glass of water. Never open, chew or break the capsule, as this greatly increases the medicine's effect. Take it with food if it upsets your stomach. Keep capsules in their original blister or bottle and use within the stated time after opening the bottle. Do not miss doses or stop without medical advice.

Increases bleeding risk. Report unusual or prolonged bleeding, severe bruising, black or bloody stools, pink/brown urine, coughing up blood, or any major or head injury urgently, and tell every clinician and dentist before procedures (stopping is carefully planned). Tell your doctor about kidney problems (dose depends on kidney function), and all medicines and supplements, which can affect bleeding. Indigestion is common. Discuss management. There is a specific reversal agent available in emergencies. Do not run out of supply; carry an anticoagulant alert card.
