Overview
Bonviva 150mg Tablets (single tablet) from Roche contain ibandronic acid, a bisphosphonate medicine that strengthens bones. Ibandronic acid slows down the cells that break down bone, helping to increase bone density and reduce the risk of fractures in postmenopausal osteoporosis. Its big convenience is that it is taken just once a month, rather than daily or weekly. By protecting bone strength, it helps lower the chance of painful, disabling fractures of the spine and hip. A trusted, once-monthly, doctor-prescribed option helping women manage osteoporosis and protect their bones.
Active: Ibandronic acid 150mg (as sodium monohydrate) per tablet.
