Cosamide 100mg (lacosamide) is a prescription anti-epileptic medicine used to treat partial-onset (focal) seizures, on its own or together with other anti-seizure medicines, and to help manage primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures. It works on the central nervous system to stabilise overactive nerve signalling, reducing the frequency and severity of seizures. Taken regularly, Cosamide helps adults and adolescents with epilepsy gain better control of their condition under specialist care.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine taken under specialist supervision. Take only as directed by your doctor. Cosamide is usually taken twice daily, with or without food, swallowed with water, at about the same times each day. Your doctor will start at a low dose and adjust gradually.
