Epibalin 75mg Capsules (30 pack) contain pregabalin, a prescription medicine for nerve (neuropathic) pain. The burning, shooting or electric-shock pain from diabetic nerve damage, shingles or spinal injury. As well as for epilepsy (as add-on therapy) and generalised anxiety disorder. Pregabalin calms overactive nerve signalling, easing pain that ordinary painkillers cannot touch and improving sleep disturbed by nerve pain. For Kenya's many patients with diabetic neuropathy, it is a cornerstone of modern nerve-pain management under medical supervision.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Treatment usually starts at 75mg once or twice daily and is adjusted gradually to response. Swallow capsules whole with water, with or without food, at the same times each day. Do not stop suddenly. Your doctor will taper the dose over at least a week to avoid withdrawal symptoms such as insomnia, nausea and anxiety.

Commonly causes dizziness, drowsiness and blurred vision, especially at first. Do not drive until you know your response, and avoid alcohol. May cause weight gain and ankle swelling. Use lower doses in kidney impairment. Caution in heart failure, depression or history of substance misuse. Dependence has been reported. Report mood changes or suicidal thoughts promptly.
