Overview
Trileptal 300 mg tablets contains Oxcarbazepine 300 mg which is used in the treatment of seizures.It is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fids by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Trileptal 300 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Trileptal 300 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol. Trileptal is unsafe to use during pregnancy but safe to use during lactation. It should however be used with caution in patients with severe liver and kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
