Overview

Letroz tablets contain Letrozole 2.5 mg which is used in the treatment of breast cancer and infertility due to anovulation. Letroz Tablet is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by decreasing the amount of oestrogen (natural female hormone) produced in the body. This can slow or stop the growth of some breast cancers that need oestrogen to grow. In addition, it is also useful in infertility whereby it increases the release of certain hormones to stimulate the release of eggs from the ovaries.

Directions for Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Letroz Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Letroz 2.5 mg is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy and lactation.Always consult your doctor. Letroz Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Letroz Tablet is recommended. However it should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
