Benylin Paediatric Syrup 100ml is a gentle children's cough syrup containing the antihistamine diphenhydramine, which calms dry, tickly and irritating coughs while its mild sedative effect helps a coughing child rest at night. It also relieves the runny nose and sneezing that often accompany childhood colds and allergies. A long-standing family brand from Kenvue (Johnson & Johnson heritage), Benylin Paediatric is a familiar choice for parents soothing a child's night-time cough. Always dosed strictly by age as directed on the pack.

Directions for Use
Use the measuring cup provided. Children 6-12 years: 10ml every 4-6 hours, up to 4 doses in 24 hours. Children 2-5 years: only on a doctor's or pharmacist's advice. Do not exceed the stated dose or combine with other cough, cold or antihistamine medicines. See a doctor if the cough lasts more than 5 days or comes with high fever or breathing difficulty.
Causes drowsiness. Do not combine with other sedating medicines, and never use to sedate a child. Not for children under 2 years. Avoid in children with epilepsy, glaucoma or severe liver impairment except on medical advice. Dry mouth and constipation can occur. Confirm the exact formulation and strength on the packaging, as Benylin variants differ. Store below 30°C.
