Directions for Use

Stop and seek urgent care for signs of lactic acidosis (rare): rapid breathing, severe weakness, muscle pain or feeling very cold. Metformin should be paused around contrast-dye scans or serious illness. Stop and seek help for severe, persistent stomach pain (possible pancreatitis). Limit alcohol.
