Overview

Optive Plus Eye Drops 10ml are Allergan's enhanced artificial tears for dry, tired, gritty eyes. Adding a lipid component to the trusted Optive formula. Carmellose sodium lubricates, glycerin hydrates and protects surface cells, and castor oil supports the tear film's natural oily layer, slowing tear evaporation. Particularly helpful for evaporative dry eye linked to screen time, air conditioning and eyelid gland dysfunction. The triple-action drop gives longer-lasting comfort for office workers, drivers and contact lens users battling persistent dry eye.

Carmellose sodium 0.5%, glycerin 1%, castor oil 0.25% with osmoprotectants and Purite® preservative. Full list on product packaging.

Directions for Use

Shake the bottle gently before use. Wash your hands and instil one to two drops into each affected eye as needed. Typically two to four times a day or as your eye care professional advises. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye. A momentary slight blurring as the drop spreads is normal and clears quickly. Discard the bottle 6 months after opening (check label).

For external ophthalmic use only. Brief blurring after instillation. Wait until vision clears before driving. Do not use if allergic to any component or if the solution discolours. Persistent redness, pain or vision changes need professional eye assessment. Lubricants relieve symptoms but do not treat infection or other eye disease. Check with your optician about use with contact lenses. Store below 25°C with the cap tightly closed.
