Unibrom Eye Drops (5ml) contain bromfenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medicine in eye-drop form. They are used in adults to reduce inflammation, swelling and pain in the eye after cataract surgery. Bromfenac works by blocking the release of prostaglandins. Natural substances that cause pain and swelling. Helping the eye settle and recover more comfortably after the procedure. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine for use in the eye, exactly as directed by your eye doctor. Commonly one drop into the affected eye(s) twice a day, often started a day or two before surgery and continued for a couple of weeks afterwards as instructed. Wash your hands, tilt your head back, pull down the lower lid and instil one drop, then gently close the eye. Do not let the dropper tip touch the eye or any surface. Remove contact lenses before use.

For use in the eyes only. Do not swallow or inject. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs, or have asthma triggered by them, and if you have diabetes, dry eye, a bleeding tendency, rheumatoid arthritis, or have had repeated eye surgery, as these need caution. May cause brief stinging, mild irritation or temporary blurred vision. Do not drive until vision clears; report worsening pain, redness or vision changes. Not for use in children.
