Apetamin Syrup (200ml) is an appetite-stimulant tonic that combines cyproheptadine (an antihistamine that increases appetite) with the amino acid L-lysine and B-complex vitamins. It is used to help stimulate appetite and support weight gain in people who are underweight or eating poorly, for example during recovery from illness. The vitamins and lysine support nutrition while cyproheptadine helps boost the appetite. A supportive option for people advised to improve a poor appetite. Best used under medical guidance. Directions for Use
This is a pharmacy/prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist, using the measure provided. Commonly one to two teaspoonfuls a few times a day, with or after food. Because it causes drowsiness, many people take it in the evening. Do not exceed the recommended dose or use it long-term without medical advice. Follow the age guidance on the pack.
