Directions for Use

Adults and children over 10: 13-27 drops (10-20mg) at night, starting at the lower end. Children 4-10: 7-13 drops at night, on a doctor's or pharmacist's advice. Measure into water or juice and drink. A bowel movement typically follows in 6-12 hours. Dose at bedtime for morning relief. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time, alongside fluids, fibre and movement.

Do not use in suspected bowel obstruction, severe abdominal pain with nausea or vomiting, acute appendicitis-type symptoms, or severe dehydration. Not for continuous daily use beyond short courses. Prolonged stimulant laxative use causes a lazy bowel and salt imbalance. Cramping and diarrhoea signal too high a dose. Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy, breastfeeding or for children under 4. Seek review if constipation persists beyond a week despite treatment. Store below 30°C.
