Alben Suspension (10ml) contains albendazole, an anti-worm (anthelmintic) medicine in a ready-to-take liquid, convenient for children and adults alike. Albendazole clears common intestinal worm infections. Including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, threadworm (pinworm) and tapeworm. By starving the worms of energy so they die and are passed out. Regular deworming supports healthy growth and appetite, especially in children. A simple, effective treatment for the intestinal worms that are common in many households.

Active: Albendazole 400mg per 10ml (40mg/ml). Suspension base includes flavouring and preservatives.

Directions for Use

Take as directed on the label or by your doctor or pharmacist. For most common intestinal worms a single dose is used (often the whole 10ml / 400mg for adults and children over two years), sometimes repeated after two to three weeks to catch newly hatched worms. Shake the bottle well, measure with the cup or spoon provided, and take with or after food. Treating the whole household at once helps prevent reinfection.

Confirm the right dose for young children with your pharmacist; not generally recommended under one year except on medical advice. Mild stomach upset, nausea or headache can occur.
