Vermox 100mg Tablets (6 pack) from Janssen contain mebendazole, a trusted anti-worm (anthelmintic) medicine for common intestinal worm infections. Mebendazole works by starving the worms of the sugar they need, so they die and are passed out of the body. It treats threadworm (pinworm), roundworm, hookworm and whipworm. Some of the most common worm infections in children and adults. The 6-tablet pack suits the repeated or family dosing many worm infections need. Directions for Use

Take as directed on the label or by your doctor or pharmacist. For threadworm, a single tablet is usually taken, with a second tablet after 2 weeks to catch reinfection; for other worms, one tablet is often taken twice daily for 3 days. The tablets can be chewed, swallowed or crushed. Treating the whole household at the same time and keeping good hygiene helps prevent the worms returning.

Not generally recommended for children under 2 years or in pregnancy (especially the first 3 months) except on medical advice; discuss breastfeeding with your pharmacist. Mild stomach upset or wind can occur as worms clear. Wash hands and under the nails, keep nails short, and wash bedding and underwear to stop threadworm spreading.
